In late 2016 Vox Liminis were commissioned to run a series of workshops exploring community justice and what it means for women in Scotland. This was part of our Distant Voices project. We were lucky enough to bring together a remarkable cross-section of women, from prison governors and retired judges to service managers and women who’ve been sentenced. These women then joined forces with some of Scotland’s best songwriters to see how making music could help them tell their stories.
Award winning producer Steve Urquhart documented the process, and made this podcast.
