The Paper Planes project sees a selection of songs created through Vox Liminis projects released on digital streaming platforms each month. Every song is a result of a co-production process where people with experience of the criminal justice system use creativity to share their stories and imagine a better world. October's songs both speak to concepts of how we are perceived and how we are remembered, and the damage that can be done by the Media and Social Media. In both songs, the protagonists find themselves unable to “disappear” from an unforgiving spotlight. ‘The Right to be Forgotten’, soaked in reverb, transports you to the ‘wee small hours’ when thoughts percolate, while the heart-breaking tale of ‘Amy’ radiates warmth and love, with congas, handclaps and gang vocals all performed by members of the Unbound Community.
