Darkness of an Opening Door
This reflective song was written during a Distant Voices song-writing session in HMP Porterfield in Inverness. Ally wrote it, with the help of Ross Clark, in order to explore how he has changed his approach to life during his time in prison. That change was initially brought on by the shaving off of a beard; a moment that somehow stimulated self-evaluation and self-improvement. This is a project demo, recorded onsite as part of the workshop.
