Each year at Vox Liminis, we brainstorm and develop a central theme with our Unbound community. The theme guides our creative explorations into the complexities of criminal justice and its impact on individuals, families, and communities. It serves as a catalyst for deep conversations, fresh perspectives, and artistic collaborations - helping us make sense of challenging realities through songwriting, visual art, and other creative practices.

Coming home from prison raises deep questions about identity - losing it, reclaiming it, and figuring out who you are after. Many who work in these systems say they’ve become box tickers instead of the changemakers they once hoped to be.
