Louis Abbott
Community Musician

Louis is best known as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist with Scottish band Admiral Fallow, and has been part of Vox Liminis since 2014.

Alongside his band work, Louis is also an accomplished percussionist and collaborator, working with a wide range of artists across genres and projects. His versatility as both a frontman and ensemble musician gives him a unique ability to adapt his skills to different settings and to work creatively with others.

At Vox, Louis brings this breadth of musical experience into community and prison-based work, where he has been involved in countless workshops and contributed to many of the organisation’s music releases. As a community musician, Louis supports people with little or no prior experience to create songs that are powerful, personal, and collaborative. Skilled at building trust, encouraging participation, and drawing out creativity, he ensures the process of making music is inclusive and meaningful. Through his sensitivity, musicianship, and commitment, Louis continues to make a big impact in Vox’s work.
