This song was written during a Distant Voices song-writing session that took place at the Glasgow-based offices of Vox Liminis. This session was run in partnership with Hot Chocolate Trust. Several young people and staff from HTC wrote songs about how they had been affected by crime. In ‘Nothing sacred’, Andy Robertson reflects both on his experience of getting his house broken into and on the importance of valuing human relationships over material possessions. Andy wrote both the words and music, with some support from Lucy Cathcart Froden.
This is a project demo, recorded onsite as part of the workshop.
