There’s a Lot to Hope For – Film
‘There’s a Lot to Hope For’ is a short film about utopian ideas presented through songs, that raise questions of justice. The songs and video content draws from the experience of Vox Liminis' ‘Unbound community’ and was developed through a series of creative strategies and conversations with people from across Scottish society.   This artwork reflects absurd notions of justice and the importance of creative communities that offer hope and nurture speculative imagination.  Each video represents a difference experience of the justice system.  We'll be sharing more about the process of creating the film over the coming weeks.   The process has highlighted the limitless potential of collaboration and the power of ideas– utopian, dystopian, or a bit of both.   Feel free to share, show and send us comments on the film and any issues it may raise to laura@voxliminis.co.uk Content warning: Strong Language and references to detrimental impact of justice system on individuals and families.
