Sick of Being Seasick – (single version)

Sick of Being Seasick was written and recorded in The Bella Centre in August of this year.  The Bella Centre is a community custody unit in Dundee, housing women nearing the end of a custodial sentence.

A co-write between C and Claire McKay (aka Martha Ffion), the song uses lots of metaphor to describe the writers hopes of a new life after prison by entering rehab at the end of her sentence ("the lighthouse in the distance"), and leaving drug use behind.  It is hauntingly beautiful, and continues to be a daily inspiration for the writer, who will soon be working with us again on something new.

You can listen to other songs from this session here.
This song is available to listen to across mainstream platforms.
