In October & November
In Tune is currently on hold while visiting restrictions are ongoing across Scottish prisons. Lisa has kept in touch with families who have previously joined us for In Tune who still feel the positive impact it had for them. They were delighted to have been able to take part and have happy memories that helped carry them through (even in a small way) weeks of not being able to see loved ones.
It’s always great to hear what it has meant to the Dads who have taken part. One of the Dads, who took part in both the song writing sessions we ran in HMP Greenock last year, let us know what his daughter thought of his last song:
“My daughter hasn’t stopped playing the last one so hopefully this one’s the same. She’ll love it. I know my wee lassie loves having the last song because it’s from me, she really gets it, and I really appreciate coming to this and doing it. Thanks for having me here again. It’s just so different and I love what you get us doing. I’d do this every day of the week, every week.”
