Oblivion and Beyond: Practitioner Workshops exploring Recovery & Coming Home

05 Sep 2019

To coincide with the release of the Oblivion and Beyond EP this October, we’re running some interactive workshops exploring recovery and desistance.

We’re inviting frontline practitioners, including social workers, support workers and other professionals who work with people in recovery or people ‘coming home’ from the criminal justice system to join this exploration of desistance and recovery in a creative environment.

Facilitated by Vox Liminis staff and featuring live performances of songs from the ‘Oblivion and Beyond’ EP, the workshop will spark new conversations, insights and highlight existing practices to share with others in Highland and beyond. It promises to be an illuminating and uplifting experience!

We anticipate that participants will gain:

  • A unique insight of recovery from people with first-hand experience
  • A deepened understanding of recovery and desistance approaches
  • An opportunity to creatively reflect upon learning and the relevance to your own role
  • An opportunity to recognise the supportive practice in Highland for people in recovery and desistance.

We invite you to join us!
