Distant Voices Festival Conversation 2: Foundations

05 Nov 2021 12:00 pm

‘Foundations: Creative action, community-building and democratic life’ With Alison Urie & Oliver Escobar

Distant Voices has been exploring justice and reintegration creatively and in community.

In this second conversation, we reflect on how the approach we’ve developed can help us imagine a different future together, creating spaces for new connections and solidarities and richer forms of democratic life.

The conversation will weave research insights with poems from the creative experiment ‘Making Things New’. The poems were written by members of the Vox Liminis Unbound Community with storyteller and poet Pádraig Ó Tuama.

We hope you can join us in dialogue about community building and democratic repair in search of the foundations for a better future. Everyone welcome!

This event is hosted on ZOOM and your login details will be sent 48 hours in advance.

Tickets are free! However, if you would like to make a donation to support the ongoing work of Vox Liminis you can do so here:
