Alison Urie
Co-Investigator

Alison has been with Vox from the beginning, planting the seeds of what now exists way back in 2013. She’s worked in community development and social innovation for 17 years. Having established the Hot Chocolate Trust, a thriving youth community in Dundee, she guided it through it’s first ten years. Alison then moved to Glasgow with no fixed plan of what would come next and has found herself in this great adventure. She’s the least likely former-equestrian you’ll ever meet, semi-secretly plays in a band, and loves cooking a curry while listening to Craig Charles’ Funk & Soul Show on the wireless. If she can bike there, she will, whatever the weather.

Alison leads on Distant Voices and the overall strategy of Vox Liminis, and loves nothing more than some good dot-joining.
