This touching song was written during a Distant Voices song-writing session in HMP Porterfield in Inverness. Louis helped Stevie Boyle (an officer in the prison) craft the lyrics in which Stevie remembers and reflects upon his relationship with his father, focusing on recollections of their trips to football matches together. By coincidence rather than design, 4 of the 8 songs written in this session explored relationships between fathers and their children. This is a project demo, recorded onsite as part of the workshop.
